2015

Mr Melo is performing with the Metropolitan Opera as Ruiz in il Trovatore this fall in the HD broadcast and through the winter. On October 24th he performed with the Teatro Grattacielo the neglected masterpiece Siberia by Umberto Giordano at the Gerald Lynch Theater at John Jay College, 524 West 59th St. New York, NY 10019

March 2015 Performances as Cavaradossi in Tosca with the El Paso Opera performing with the incomparable Lauren Flanigan

April 2015 Performances as Calaf in Turandot with the Manitoba Opera.

2014

This September he makes his debut singing both leading roles; Turiddu and Canio in Cavalleria rusticana and i Pagliacci in a double bill with the Amarillo Opera.

His fall continues in November with the 20th Anniversary gala concert of the Teatro Grattacielo singing music from the operas;Risurrezione and I Cavalieri di Ekebu.

2014 concludes with performances as Calaf in Turandot in Hong Kong this December.

Summer 2014: Series of concerts with the FOSBO Orchestra in Bogotá Columbia where among other works Mer. Melo performed Rachmaninoff's The Bells.

August 2014: Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport Massachusetts. All Richard Strauss concert featuring music from Ariadne auf Naxos Die Frau ohne Schatten, Salome and Der Rosenkavalier
